The Meaux Pommery mustard is a 200-year-old recipe made continuously
in the Meaux town of the Brie region of France, where limestone wheels
were carved for milling mustard grain. This mustard has been famously
recognized by the 19th Century food expert Brillat-Savarin who described
it as "La Moutarde Des Gastronomes," translated as "the gourmet's mustard."
